Workshop repairs
Diagnostics, clutch and steering
We find the fault, explain it, and get the job done on time. Hybrids and plug-in hybrids are welcome, along with everyday cars and more prestigious marques.
Vehicle diagnostic
The diagnostic test relies on a computer system that links to the vehicle’s computer processor, sensors and microchips, logging any problems or issues present. That record is how we separate a genuine fault from a warning light that has simply been left on.
We use the same equipment as an EPC fault finder. If you have bought a car and want the electronics checked as part of a wider inspection, ask for diagnostics with the inspection and we will talk you through what the scan shows.
Drop us a message if you want a technical question answered before you travel. We will do our best to help with the matter as soon as we can, then book the car in if it needs the ramp.
Book a diagnosticClutch replacement
If you are trying to change gears and the clutch keeps slipping, or the car will not go above a certain speed, or it takes longer than usual to pull away from stationary, it needs a clutch replacement.
A slipping clutch only gets worse with heat and miles. Tell us the make, model and registration and we will quote the job. We work on everyday cars and on more specialised vehicles, including hybrids.

Steering system
We deal in steering racks, steering linkages and hydraulic power steering. Troubleshooting starts with the way the car feels on the road, then moves to the rack, the linkages and a diagnostic check when an EPC fault is stored.
Play in the steering, a heavy wheel, or a leak from the hydraulic system are all reasons to book the car in rather than wait for the MOT to find it. We will tell you what is worn and what can wait.
Book steering workOn-time delivery
In an age where time is money, we know how important your time is as well, so we try our best to get the job done on time. If a part has to be ordered, we say so before the car is left with us.
Repair, then inspect
Customer cars are repaired and then checked again. The aim is simple: the car should feel closer to brand new when you collect it than it did when you arrived.
